Crafted by Breathe Architects in collaboration with Housing Choices Australia and Renewal SA, Nightingale Bowden prioritises people over profit - a philosophy consistent with the very fabric of developer, Nightingale. With heartfelt consideration for its future residents and visitors, the building features community spaces on the rooftop and street level to wholly embody the spirit of inclusivity. The building's material choices pay homage to Bowden's industrial heritage with a feature sawtooth profile above the roofline and specks of copper motifs adorning the facade. Lush greenery thrives at the intersection of two building halves, both of which are distinguished by colour and profile variations and as Breathe quotes, “Designed to support a genuinely diverse cross-section of Adelaide society.”
